Submit your sitemap to Google in #3 ways

All the webmaster need to submit their websites sitemap to google or other search engines. But all the webmaster uses Google Google search console and Bing search console for index their  webpage.today I will try to discuss about how to submit your websites sitemap to Google search console in three ways.

What is sitemap

A site map is a file which bears all the link of that website .

The three way to submit your sitemap to google

  • Using Google search console
  • Robots.txt
  • Using the command line

Why you need to submit sitemap into Google search engines

At first Google crawl the websites and index the webpage into their search engines. A sitemap file bears all the link of that website bear all the link of that website. So Google can easily index of the web page. Are you don’t have any sitemap then Google cannot particularly index your webpage. So you need to creator Google friendly sitemap and submit your sitemap to Google search console or Bing search console.

How to create a sitemap

Creating a sitemap is not very difficult .it is a I am XML file which create a map of link of that site. If we use wordpress CMS then you can use different types of plugins like Google XML sitemaps and can use any SEO plugin.because of all the SEO plugin automatically create a sitemap file like Yoast or RankMath. After creating a sitemap file then you are ready to submit your websites sitemap to Google.

How to submit a sitemap Google search console

Today I’ll talk about three ways to submit a sitemap file to Google search console. You can use any of these methods to submit yourself map to Google search console. At first

Using Google search console:

All the webmaster’s follows this ways to submit their websites sitemap to Google. First day spent a lot of time in Google search console so their uses this way to submit sitemap to Google. And easily can see how many links they have submitted to Google search console by sitemap. Also they can see all the error links and discovered link and they can also delete the sitemap from Google search console.so that’s why I preferred all the time to use Google search console to submit a sitemap file to Google.

  • At first add your site to Google search console
  • Then go to search maps from the menu in small display set and from the sidebar in tablet or desktop or laptop.

  • Then just paste the location of your site map. As example sitemap.xml or post-sitemap.xml . You don’t need to give the domain name of your site.Google will automatically detect that.

  • You will say how many linked discovered and how many links discovered with error.

  • This all the links is visible to Google and they can crawl all submitted web page of your site.

Using robots.txt method

Your sitemap will discovered to Google when Google crawl your robots.txt file of your website. It is mostly popular because Google automatically get your set my file destination aur path by crawling your robots.txt file . But you need to submit your sitemap file in robots.txt file or either Google cannot get your sitemap file destination.

Robots.txt file has its own structure to submit sitemap file.

At first open your robots.txt file and you need to write a code in different line. After Opening robots.txt file write

sitemap:https://domain.com/sitemap.xml

Here’s after sitemap: you need to set the destination of your website sitemap XML file.

Everytime when Google crawl your robots.txt file you set my file will automatically submitted to Google search console. You need not to submit your sitemap file every time after updating it. Google will automatically detecting and submit your sitemap to Google.

Using the command line

Google also support the command line by URL to submit sitemap to Google. It is called the ping method.you just ping to Google and Google crawl your sitemap and store all the link into search console instead of manually submitting a sitemap in Google search console.

You can use the ping command programmatically using the following format:

http://www.google.com/ping?sitemap=’path to sitemap file’

For example:
http://www.google.com/ping?sitemap=https://example.com/sitemap.xml

You can also do it through a browser window by pasting the URL. Once submitted you will get a ‘sitemap notification received’.

Everytime you ping won’t change the queue position. So just ping when your site map updated.

Today all the methods used to submit sitemap to Google. You can choose one of them or can choose all these method to submit sitemap to Google. I will prefer you to choose the first and second one to submit sitemap file to Google.
